Heroes Season 2 Episode 1

Heroes is back, and it's doing it again! The first season took hold of me and wouldn't let me go, and the second season isn't slouching either! If you weren't fortunate enough to catch the season premiere, here's a short catch-up for you.

The premiere episode for Season 2 is called "Four Months Later" and it takes place exactly then. Dr. Suresh is touring the country, giving lectures on a deadly new virus that threatens the entire world when a man simply known as "Bob" identifies himself as a member of the Company and makes Suresh an offer he can't refuse.

Claire and her family are being towed around the country by her father in an attempt to stay out of sight of the Company, and they finally alight in a new town for a fresh, inconspicuous start. The plan is to keep out of the spotlight and be anonymous, but that gets rather difficult when another classmate with his own secret realizes that there's something different about Claire and begins to take interest.

Officer Parkman and Dr. Suresh have decided to take in Molly and give her a real home, but things are far from relaxed. Molly is consistently having worse and worse nightmares about "The Nightmare Man," and Parkman has his hands full in a police investigation regarding some death threats against Kaito Nakamura and Angela Petrelli.

Nathan Petrelli has hit rock bottom, consumed with guilt over Peter's disappearance and assumed death after the NYC explosion of Season One. However, Peter is not dead and shows up in Ireland of all places, handcuffed into a shipping container with no memories at all about his identity or abilities.

Our pal Hiro is off on his own adventure, in the historic days of Takezo Kensei in 17th century Japan! I'm sure you can imagine the situation, but you'll be as surprised as Hiro is when you find out the truth about Kensei! I'll tell you right now, I did NOT see it coming!

We are also introduced to a new pair of characters, Maya and Alejandro. Driven from their home and pursued by the police as murder suspects because of the accidental first release of Maya's ability to cause a sort of plague in all surrounding people whenever she gets extremely upset, the brother and sister are fleeing to America to try to locate Dr. Suresh in hopes of finding a cure.

A LOT goes on in this new first episode, and we can be sure of more to come. This season definitely keeps up the Heroes tradition demonstrated in the first season, and you can expect it to keep doing it as the second season goes on!
