Wine Racks: The Stylish Ways to Present Wine

Important for everyone who enjoys a great bottle of wine, wine racks provide both a functional and beautiful solution. Wine racks can be a statement, clean and make your wines look even better than they taste (well sometimes). With the huge variety racks to choose from, many different kinds of materials are used to create these racks which allows for an variety of styles to fit your personality.

A simple approach to impress your friends is to have a small but noticable rack in a noticable area that will strick up conversation and sttention. Select a wine rack design than will present several bottles at onc. Then remove a bottle for corkage as you are discussing it with your guests.

When storing a larger collection of wine, look to acquire a set of wood wine racks to easily store and help identify the vintages. This is assuming you have the proper room to store your wine! Without proper storage, it will not matter much when you open that vintage and you will suffer from great losses.

If you are fortunate to have a cellar, there are also commercial and personal use custom wine rack services that will create a proper arrangement for your needs. Or perhaps you are looking for a nice design to complement the look and feel of your wine shop! No matter what your requirement or need is, today there are plenty of beautiful designs to choose from. Many racks can even be custom made to suit your unique needs. For example if the theme of your cellar is black and white then a black colored set of wrought iron wine racks can look stunning in your cellar!

The more extensive you collection becomes, especially when 'collector' status is achieved, more important that the asthetics of the rack are the proper conditions of the storage room or cellar. You should not risk exposing your collection to less proper conditions and as suck a suitable wine rack becomes a function more than a design item. Wine needs a proper level of humidity and temperature level in order to store properly.

Going back to wine 101, storing each bottle properly is the first step to building a collection. Regardless of the wine rack you purchase or design, it must allow for the bottle to sit to allow for the cork to remain in contact with the wine and remain moist. It is also proper to keep the bottle slightly upright to enable sediment to remian at the bottom of the bottle. Reduce movement and be sure to allow for easy access to individual bottles regardles of the rack configuration.
