There are many possible causes of hip joint pain, which means that it important to consult your doctor and together work through your symptoms, and history so that you can identify the real cause of your pain and take appropriate action. This includes the tendons, muscles and bones in our bodies. As it is a weight bearing joint, the hip joints often suffers greatly as we grow older. If you have had a recent injury to any part of your body, this could be the culprit of your hip joint pain. Aseptic bursitis is common and noninfectious. Bursae, plural of bursa, are adjacent to tendons close to extent joints like the elbows, shoulders, knees and hips. Soft tissue strain or traumas cause inflammation. The bursa is rarely affected by bacteria hence septic.

Some of the causes of joint pain are linked to the following - Trochanteric bursitis is a result of swollen bursa over the exterior of the hip joint and can lead to severe pain. Tendonitis, in one of the tendons around the hip joint, could lead to hip pain in the joint also. A good example of this is developmental dysplasia, where the hips are misplaced when a patient is still an infant. This child who suffers from dysplasia will have problems with hip joints, as they may not develop properly. Treatment of hip joint pain or hip bursitis is based on the kind of infection. Aseptic or noninfectious bursitis of the hip is treated with rest, ice compresses and inflammatory medication.

A treatment of heat and ice can also help when gout and hip joint pains are making it hard to move around. Ask your doctor about the proper way to do this type of simple treatment. The heat and then the cold ice packs can help bring some of the swelling down and then keep it from flaring back up right away. Light exercise. Exercise that supports you such as swimming and water aerobics in a very beneficial effect on your hip joint pain. When you exercise (and stretch) it increases the blood flow to the hip which brings oxygen and additional nutrients into the area that your body can use to speed up the. If you are only in the early stages of this disease, you may be able to handle your hip joint pain through nonsurgical and non-prescription medications. You could start by not overusing the hip joint.

There is also a hip condition that affects infants. It usually occurs due to birth trauma where the hip joint dislocates. This condition is referred to as dysplasia. This condition can also be caused by an accident. Ask your medical practitioner to give you the range of motions exercises planned especially for the hip, as this will strengthen the circulation and deliver the nutrients where they are most important: your hip joint. At the first sign of pain, there are a few things you can do to prevent the situation worsening. Stop doing the activity that causes the pain, use a cane or creatures to relieve the stress on the joint, and make sure to sleep in a firm bed in a position that does not cause you pain.
