It's important to remember that fertility is not static. It changes over time for both sexes and they may react differently with different partners. It can be very distressing for a man or woman who has children with one partner to find that it is impossible with a new one. A couple with one child may be pole-axed to find that they cannot have a second - what's known as secondary infertility, which is very much misunderstood. The couple will hardly be consoled by friends and relatives telling them to be grateful for what they already have.

Dealing with pregnancy and cholestastis, can be difficult. But with the proper information and physical care it can be done. Cholestastis, is a common liver disease of many pregnant women. In this disease bile is not able to flow freely from the woman's liver, because of blockage. One of the primary reasons for the development of this disease is hormone.

This condition is referred to as vena cava compression syndrome or supine hypotensive syndrome. Plus, when exercise is performed in the supine position, it is possible that an already reduced cardiac output would be preferentially redirected to the exercising muscles and away from the uterus and placenta. For these reasons the ACOG recommends to avoid exercising in the supine position after the first trimester.

Cramping as an early sign of pregnancy may also occur because the uterus is undergoing rapid changes to accommodate the pregnancy. The uterus must stretch and grow to make room for the developing baby and placenta. There is more blood flow to the uterus and it doesn't take long to grow from the size of a fist to the size of a grapefruit. Many women think that their period is about to arrive at any time when it is really cramping due to these changes.

The most common sign of pregnancy will appear between two to eight weeks of pregnancy. Morning sickness, dizziness, backaches, and even vomiting in extreme cases are some of these common symptoms. Some of you may be really fortunate enough not to deal with problems of morning sickness while others who are not so fortunate can feel queasy throughout entire pregnancy. Remember continuous back pains, nauseatic feeling, dizziness cannot be the result of food poisoning, stress or other disorders, as they all are transitory phases.

Morning Sickness, Nausea and Vomiting - Typically confined to early pregnancy, though some women experience this symptom for up to six months, and some women are sick throughout their entire pregnancy. Morning sickness is not always confined to the morning, some women get sick at different times during the day and it results from the changing levels of estrogen in the body. Increased Urination - As your uterus enlarges, you are likely to feel the urge to go to the bathroom more often.

Another hormone you need while pregnant, progesterone, hCG is responsible for production of progesterone. Originally the hCG hormone is made by the embryo inside a woman's body and then the placenta takes over to produce the progesterone hormone. It might even be the progesterone that is so critically important to your body especially during pregnancy that may be the cause of the morning sickness.
