It's amazing that with all of the many ways to save a marriage available to couples today, more marriages fail than succeed. Perhaps the problem is that instead of taking the time to build a solid foundation for a healthy marriage, they ignore it, and then scramble for ways to save a marriage after it is already in serious trouble.
You are no doubt familiar with the old saying "you reap what you sow." Well, that applies to marriage as much as it does anything else. If you work hard at strengthening your marriage now, you won't have to struggle to fix it in the future.
In order to build a strong and healthy marriage, you and your spouse must practice communication, consideration and confirmation on a consistent basis. These three things are vitally important, and there is no way to save your marriage at all costs without them.

You must communicate honestly and openly with your significant other if you want to have a happy and healthy relationship. Consideration is a critical aspect of marriage, and couples that fail to be considerate of one another end up angry and resentful. Marriage is a two-way street, and if you want your spouse to be considerate of your thoughts and feelings, then you better be considerate of theirs. Remember, marriage is a partnership comprised of two unique individuals that have different views and ideas. A successful marriage is a partnership containing two unique individuals who understand that their partner's views and ideas are just as important as their own.
You love your spouse and you find them attractive, or else you wouldn't have married them, right? So when is the last time you told them how much you loved them, or gave them a hug? Humans are basically insecure creatures that need confirmation once in awhile, so begin making a habit of confirming your love to your spouse. It takes such little effort to give them a kiss or tell them they look sexy, and it really does help strengthen your relationship.
For those of you searching for ways to save your marriage at all costs, then make a commitment to incorporate communication, consideration and confirmation into your marriage. And don't forget, the key here is consistency, so these things should become daily habits.
Nothing worth having is ever easy, so be prepared to work hard to build a healthy, successful marriage. But it will be worth it because if you build that foundation now, you won't have to worry about finding ways to save a marriage later.
