Australia’s Geoff Ogilvy has won the SBS Championship at Kapalua, Maui yesterday, netting a very tidy $1.2 million for his efforts.

His triumph now makes 5 Aussie wins in 7 years at the opening event of the US PGA Tour.

Overall, Ogilvy achieved 46-under over the past eight rounds.

He was very excited to get the birdies he’d needed to thwart Sabbatini’s score and happy to know that his win had ensured his return to Kapalua.
