Fire and Ice
Two elements on opposites ends of the spectrum.
Opposing forces of equal power, both destructive and comforting.
Effecting and changing other forces they come into contact with.
Each having the ability to eliminate one another, and to change each others substance.
Neither able to back down from one another, nor to co-exist together.
Forever in conflict, never to reside in each others existence.
Fire to melt Ice, Ice to extinguish Fire, in turn escapes into steam, only to merge as one, into vapor.
Perhaps the two are as one, if only for a brief moment in time, forever changing.
As in fire and ice is Human emotion.
Love and Hate, both equal in power.
One life giving, one life taking.
Both an unstoppable wave of motion.
A sea of love or a river of hate, unfailing motion of emotion.
Hate, from the fiery depths of hell, burning and extinguishing all life along the way.
Never satisfied and never revenged, forever taking, never giving, only needing more.
Love, as if from the hands of God, forever giving to life, always uplifting to soul.
Never taking and never expecting, but always ready and willing.
Admirable warriors from the beginning of time.
Both immeasurably equal in strength and power, endlessly battle for the control and reign in the hearts of man.
One having the ability to move mountains, the other able to snuff out life in a blink of an eye.
Love, as the waves of oceans from uncharted depths, giving life and freedom to all whom shall ever be willing.
Hate, the flowing river of fire, incinerating and scaring all that it touches, only to take more prisoners forever locked in fiery cells.
Choose your warrior, make your peace.
Live your convictions as the warrior you have chosen, for he would do no less for you.
Make no apologies for your decisions, be forever faithful to yourself.
The battle for the hearts of Man will rage until the end of time.
Wars are never won, they only change the way things are.
So live today, for tomorrow will come soon enough.
Question not the hearts of Man, for there must always be opposites ends of the spectrum.
